The price is also affected by brightness, LED technology, video processor, mounting method, supporting structure, service access, warranty and redundancy requirements.
The market also includes a very large number of manufacturers and product categories. Two LED displays with the same dimensions can therefore differ significantly in price, image quality, operational reliability and future serviceability.
A general price per square metre can consequently be misleading.

Pixel pitch is selected primarily according to the shortest normal viewing distance and the type of content that will be displayed.
A display showing small text at close range normally requires a finer pixel pitch than a large outdoor display viewed from a longer distance.

The final dimensions need to follow the construction measurements of the modules, but the solution can normally be adapted closely to the requested width and height.
